About Langkawi Sky Bridge

The Langkawi Sky Bridge is a curved, 125 m pedestrian bridge suspended high above the rainforest canopy on Gunung Mat Cincang, one of Langkawi island's highest peaks. Reaching it is an experience in itself, via the Langkawi SkyCab, a steep cable car ride that climbs nearly 700 m, giving sweeping views over the island, its surrounding smaller islands, and the Andaman Sea.

The bridge itself curves gently around the mountainside, supported by a single pylon, with sections of glass flooring for those brave enough to look straight down to the forest below. On a clear day, the views stretch as far as Thailand, and the combination of cable car ride and bridge walk makes this one of Langkawi's most memorable experiences.

Good to Know

The bridge suits families, couples, groups and photographers, for a visit of 2 to 3 hours including the cable car ride. The attraction can close temporarily in high winds or storms, since both the cable car and bridge are exposed to mountain weather.

Visiting earlier in the day usually means clearer skies and shorter queues for the cable car, which can get busy, especially on weekends and during school holidays.
