Day 1Islamabad to Muzaffarabad & Keran
- Depart from Islamabad
- Breakfast at Muzaffarabad
- Visit Dhani Waterfall
- Short stay at Kutton Waterfall
- Travel towards Keran along the Neelum River
- Overnight stay in Keran
Day 2Keran to Sharda
- Breakfast at hotel
- Travel towards Sharda with sightseeing stops

- Nature photography along the Neelum River

Day 3Jeep Ride to Taobat Village

- Transfer to jeeps for Taobat Village

Day 4Taobat to Arang Kel to Sharda

- Explore Arang Kel with photography
- Drive back and overnight stay in Sharda/Keran
Day 5Ratti Gali Lake Excursion
- Early breakfast at hotel
- Jeep ride to Dowarian (vehicle change point)
- Transfer to 4x4 jeep for the base camp (adventurous, bumpy ride)
- Hike (approx. 45 minutes) or optional horse ride to Ratti Gali Lake
- Explore the lake, enjoy local Kashmiri cuisine at base camp
- Overnight camping at Ratti Gali Base Camp under a starlit sky
Day 6Return from Ratti Gali to Sharda/Keran
- Breakfast at base camp
- Hike/horse ride back down to Dowarian
- Transfer back to vehicle
- Return to Sharda/Keran for rest
- Overnight stay in Sharda/Keran
Day 7Muzaffarabad & Pir Chinasi
- Breakfast at hotel, check-out
- Travel towards Muzaffarabad
- Visit Kundal Shahi Waterfall
- Travel towards Pir Chinasi

Day 8Optional Excursion (Shounter Valley / Baboon Valley)

Plan notes
Please carry your original CNIC for identification at Neelum Valley checkpoints (mandatory near LOC areas including Taobat and Ratti Gali route). The Ratti Gali jeep ride is a challenging, bumpy 3.5-hour off-road journey not recommended for elderly travellers or those with back/joint concerns; a hike or horse ride is required from base camp to the lake. Nights at Ratti Gali and Taobat are cold even in summer warm jackets and a hat are essential. Day 8's optional excursion is subject to confirmation and seasonal road access. Only breakfast is included — lunch and dinner can be arranged locally at your own cost.
