Please carry your original CNIC for identification at checkpoints throughout Azad Kashmir. This extended itinerary is paced deliberately slower than the 7-day version to reduce daily travel fatigue each valley gets its own dedicated day rather than being combined. The Ratti Gali jeep ride and hike are physically demanding a horse ride is available at the base camp on self-payment. Nights in Sharda, Taobat, and near Ratti Gali are cold even in summer. Only breakfast is included lunch and dinner can be arranged locally at your own cost.
Ratti Gali Lake was the highlight of our entire Pakistan trip — the trek is worth every step.
Neelum Valley is so green and peaceful, and Arang Kel felt like a different world above Kel.
Long drives between spots, but the untouched scenery makes it one of the best trips we've done.
