About Neelum Valley

Neelum Valley is the crown jewel of Azad Kashmir, a long river valley that stretches for roughly 200 kilometres along the Neelum River, from the outskirts of Muzaffarabad up toward the high mountains in the north. Known for its deep green forests, snow-fed streams and dramatic mountain walls, it is one of the most scenic and least crowded valleys in Pakistan, and it feels different at every turn of the road. The drive itself is part of the experience. Leaving Muzaffarabad, the road follows the turquoise river past pine-covered slopes, small waterfalls, wooden houses and terraced fields.
