Day 2Muzaffarabad to Keran
- Breakfast at hotel
- Visit Kutton Waterfall and Jhelum Valley viewpoints
- Travel deeper into Neelum Valley towards Keran
- Sightseeing along the Neelum River

Day 3Keran to Sharda

- Drive back, overnight stay in Sharda/Keran
Day 7Excursion to Taobat

- Transfer to jeeps for off-road track
- Visit Jamgarh Waterfall
- Explore Taobat & Upper Valleys, visit Halmat Kashmir

Day 8Jeep Trek to Ratti Gali Lake
- Early breakfast, check-out
- Departure for Dowarian
- Transfer to jeeps for the base camp
- 1-hour hike to the lake (horses available on self-payment)
- Head back down towards Dowarian/Muzaffarabad
- Overnight stay in Muzaffarabad
Day 9Return Journey to Islamabad
- Breakfast at hotel, check-out
- Travel back towards Islamabad
- Stop at Kutton Waterfall for refreshment
- Arrive Islamabad with beautiful memories
Plan notes
Please carry your original CNIC for identification at checkpoints throughout Azad Kashmir. This extended itinerary is paced deliberately slower than the 7-day version to reduce daily travel fatigue each valley gets its own dedicated day rather than being combined. The Ratti Gali jeep ride and hike are physically demanding; a horse ride is available at the base camp on self-payment. Nights in Sharda, Taobat, and near Ratti Gali are cold even in summer. Only breakfast is included lunch and dinner can be arranged locally at your own cost.
