About Ormara

Ormara is a small port town on the Arabian Sea, roughly midway between Karachi and Gwadar. Life here centres on fishing, and the pace is slow. A large hammerhead-shaped headland shelters the town from the open sea, giving Ormara a distinctive coastline.

The beach is long, quiet and relatively untouched, with seashells, open sky and glowing sunsets. The journey there is just as memorable: the Makran Coastal Highway climbs through the dramatic Buzi Pass, with sea on one side and mountains on the other, before flattening out as it nears the town.
